The leaves are falling. The weather is around a perfect 70 to 80 degrees. And we’re less than a week away from our annual Harvest Festifall. What a great way to start this new blog, which will feature Columbia events, businesses and people (ideas and volunteers welcome!).
The Columbia Harvest Festifall is this weekend, October 8 and 9, at the state park. Our vendors and event organizers can’t wait to see you! Here’s what a few of them had to say about the event:
I love the festival because I meet different people and I enjoy the environment. It is so relaxing and at the same time so exciting. It is a way to just have fun with the whole family. – Celia Cantu
As crafters and artists we enjoy showing and sharing our work with people that appreciate them as much as we do! – Kathy Peery
Selling one’s wares at Historic Columbia is a step back in time. The joy of dressing in period clothing, decorating one’s booth accordingly, and demonstrating one’s craft to the fair’s attendees is part of the fun of the show. Add to that the quaintness of Columbia, the great music and talent performing during the day, and the fabulous fall weather – come and enjoy the day with us! – Jude Hyman
I enjoy Festifall because I get to see my friends and enjoy the art and music. I am looking forward to a fresh corn on the cob and some harvest cheer. – Peg Reza
