Annual Events and Festivities

Victorian Easter Celebration Sunday, March 28, 2026

Dress up in your Easter finery and join us for our annual Victorian Easter Celebration! Parade on Main Street at 1:00pm and Egg Hunts throughout the day for three age groups. Find the golden egg and receive a special prize! Be on the lookout for Thaddeus E. Hare (aka the Easter Bunny) walking around town and handing out goodies to the kids! There will be a raffle for Easter Baskets filled with goodies from Columbia's merchants at 3:00pm in front of the Johnson's Livery stable.

Columbia's Glorious 4th of July Celebration Saturday, July 4, 2027

Come and enjoy a good old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration in Columbia with a parade, games, contests, music, demonstrations, activities, shopping, BBQ, and much more. Great fun for the whole family! Events kick off at 11:00am and continue throughout the day.

Columbia State Historic Park Fine Art Show Sunday, September 20, 2026

Join us for the annual Fiddle & Bango contest at the historic Gazebo on Main Street. Our local restaurants will be hosting a Chilli Cookoff and you can be the judge of the best Chilli in town! Winners keep the coveted Wooden Ladle until the someone else makes a better chilli!

Join us for a fun and lively street dance party with live music right in the heart of Columbia. This family-friendly event features fun activities, a beer and wine garden, and delicious street food. Starts at 6:00pm immediately after the Boo Boulevard trick-or-treating, parade, and costume contest (2pm-6pm). We recommend bringing lawn chairs, a good pair of dancing shoes, and wearing your best Halloween costume!
